This adaptor plate will allow you to install the LED or twin bulb tail lights to the 2012-2016 DL650 V-Strom.
The LED lights commonly available are for the earlier type DL650 & 1000 V-Strom and share the same lens shape but the fitment is different. This adaptor plate modifies the old style light to fit perfectly into the newer DL650. It also works with the earlier type twin DL650/1000 tail light which had twin bulbs which allows you to upgrade your 2012+ DL650 to have twin bulbs also.

Good quality piece at a great price!
In short, I highly recommend this tail light. It appears to be much brighter than stock and the brake portion is much brighter and more crisp than the OEM brake.
